“Respect Is Reciprocal” Another Ghanaian Adds His Voice To Twene Jonas To Condemn The Leaders

A Ghanaian man has jumped to the defense of US-based Ghanaian businessman and socialite, Twene Jonas over how he jabbed Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II in recent times.

Twene Jonas has incurred the wrath of many Ghanaians and people linked to the Ashanti Kingdom for the tantrums he threw at the Asantehene for failing to stamp out “Galamsey”.

Twene Jonas, in his usual Facebook live session, described the Asantehene with very hard and harsh words on the back of a speech the latter made where he lamented over how “Galamsey” has destroyed and keeps destroying the environment.

Asantehene went on to state that he knows the people destroying the water bodies and the environment in their search for gold in his area and believes Ghanaians know these people too.

These words from the Asantehene did not make many Ghanaians happy who believe he (the Asantehene) has a mandate to protect his immediate environment and ensure that the right things are done.

The man whose identity is yet to be identified said in a video that a king who wants to be respected he must first of all respect his people because respect is reciprocal.

In the video published on Youtube, he blasted the leadership of Ghana and traditional leaders who do not care about the plight of people but only think about themselves.

According to him, there is no Ghanaian living in Europe or America complaining and criticizing their respective presidents because their systems work and the government values their citizens.
