Ghanaian gospel musician and backing vocalist, Nana Ama has shared her ordeal in the hands of fellow musicians on ‘Obramu Suahunu’ television show.
Nana Ama revealed that most Ghanaian musicians don’t appreciate backing vocalist and she lamented over the fact some of them don’t pay background vocalist and it is canker in the music industry.
However, she disclosed that one person, Lord Kenya a former Hiplife musician was the only artiste who appreciate her and the role she played in his music after he won an award at the Ghana Music Awards about two decades ago.
According to her, she got jobs from the recognition Lord Kenya gave her after he mentioned her name on stage when he took the award.
