King Emmanuel Paa Kofi Koomson ‘Shabo,’ a legendary Ghanaian bass musician, has died.
High-life musician Kwame Asare Obeng, commonly known as A-Plus, broke the news of his demise.
The cause of his death is currently unknown.
Sadly, in August of this year, it was revealed that the bassist had become very ill and needed financial assistance to pay for his treatment.
King Shabo was the man behind the hit song ‘Christie’ by the defunct music group, Double that swept an award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
