Ghanaian football legend, Asamoah Gyan has reacted to the eviction of the France national team from the ongoing Euros 2020 tournament after their star, Kylian Mbappe failed to score his penalty.
France was knocked out of the competition by Switzerland on penalties after a dramatic game ended in a draw 3:3 and Mbappe’s penalty miss broke the hearts of many football fans around the world leaving the French in tears.
Reacting to this, some Ghanaians have alluded to the fact the insults and attacks Ghanaians mounted on Asamoah Gyan after he failed to score at the 2010 World Cup against Uruguay was unfair as anybody including top players in the world such as Mbappe can miss penalty.
Some have bemoaned the fact that Asamoah Gyan should be forgiven after all despite the pain he brought to many Ghanaians.
Tweeting an emoji that signifies the fact that he is just quiet and watching proceedings. Asamoah Gyan has sent a message to all Ghanaians and those who do bash him for the penalty miss.
